Is it weird that I love hospitals? I love the lights, the sounds, the smell. I feel like in another life I should have been a ob nurse. I know it’s grueling and tiring and can end with sadness, but it’s also can be such a miraculous and rewarding job. So for now, this is my little part of being there to help welcome this perfect little spirit into the world. These are the days I can say the loudest that I love my job! The plan was to shoot the birth, however once this baby decided she wanted out, it didn’t leave much of us much time. Dad barely made it, and I was on the way when she was born. So… we changed to game plan and did the fresh 48 instead! Things in this genre don’t always go as planned, but I’m okay with that! Besides, this way we got to capture the siblings meeting their newest family member.
