Wow I had a blast with these two! I always have so much fun when I shoot a senior and it’s completely different than what I usually shoot. They follow directions. I’m not tired and sweaty by the end of it (the mom isn’t either, which I’m sure they greatly appreciate). I’m not endlessly bribing with treats. They actually want to be there (boys are the exception to this, usually they are just there for their moms!). And neither I nor the mom have to resort to embarrassing tactics or sounds to get them to pay us any attention. But then you add in sisters, and it’s a whole other level of fun. I could have kept shooting all day (darn school gets in the way every time!), and I had the hardest time narrowing down their images for their gallery. I think eliminating images was what took the longest! lol Love you guys!

I’ve been deathly quiet over here, I know! But behind the scenes it’s been all but quiet. I’ve been cranking through all these shoots to make sure everyone has what they need in time for the holidays! Christmas gifts, Christmas cards, Baby announcements and anything and everything in between. To top it off, this year I opened back up to shooting family portraits, and it worked out so well for me. I love the kids I shoot, thus I love their families. And I hated not being able to provide something so important for them. Something more than just a picture for a card. These are what your kids are going to treasure more than anything else as they and you grow older. So I took a deep breath and dove in this year. And I’m so glad I did. Here is just a few of those I’ve seen come through here over the last month or two. And yes, I will start posting all those darling kids I’ve been working so hard on. I don’t know that I will get through all of them, but you will see a bunch regardless!

Hope you all are surviving this crazy season and are behaving yourselves with all the shopping (unless it’s with me of course, haha!). And lay off the egg-nog. There are still 2 more weeks to get done anything you haven’t yet. Let the games begin!

I know. I have a million family pictures from the fall that I need to post, but I couldn’t resist putting this little sweetie up. I am so happy for his parents, and admire the journey they’ve been on which brought them to him. He was so tiny and so sweet. I can’t tell you congrats enough!

The adorable Newpaper Sailor Hat is from Jenelles Prop Shop!

I know it’s been a bit since I’ve posted anything. I have been completely absorbed in getting so many fall shoots prepped, that’s I’ve neglected you all here! But I couldn’t go without wishing all of you here in the states a very Happy Thanksgiving.

I am so thankful for all that I have and try to not take for granted. Trying to remember that it could all be gone at any second. I don’t stop to smell the roses often enough, so when I do actually sit down and spend one on one time with some of my favorite people, it reminds me of what’s most important in my life. These three little beings top my list, right after my amazing husband. I love looking through the images I snapped of these rascals, and the personality that shines through. There were so, so many that just melted my heart all over again… it’s no wonder I love what I do. And yes, I definitely will be sharing more with you soon. ย

Oh, and uh, don’t mind the food one of their faces… these are straight from the camera. I just had to post before I ran out of time! How I didn’t notice when taking them, I’m not sure. Maybe it was the rush to beat the disappearing light? Sure, we’ll just say it was that. Besides, it adds a little more of “them” to the picture, because that said child usually has food on their face. ๐Ÿ™‚ So now I’m taking it all back. The food on the face was planned! lol

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

They come with 2 edits allowed to personalize. Trying to make this crazy time of year just a little easier for all of you because I know how stressful it can be. We are down to crunch time, so lets do this!!

Claire was a little feisty, but you’d never know it looking at all the amazing images we got. And by feisty, I guess I just mean… she DID NOT want to sleep. She wanted to keep track of everything we were going to do with her. These little ones should know though… I’m just as feisty, and I always win in the end. We wound up with tons of beautiful images. Then we brought big brother Will in for a sibling mini shoot. He was a little hesitant, but we got what we needed and more! I love how it all works out! ๐Ÿ™‚
