Love when I see these fresh littles come through my door. Especially when they belong to a long time childhood friend. He was such a good little guy for me!

Here is beautiful McKinnley, all cleaned up and ready to take on the world. Such a sweet little personality already shining through! her dad is a big time baller (basketball player for those who don’t know the lingo), so of course we had to get some in there with a ball. they found this perfect little mini one that fit in her hand so well! the best part about all of this, is that this little one just happens to be my newest niece. welcome to the family!!

there are few things more amazing than watching parents meet their baby for the first time. it was a long day full of waiting and hard labor for these two (seriously, this tough mom was in hard labor ALL DAY!), but when their bundle finally arrived i’m pretty sure they would say it was worth it all. thank you for trusting me to be a part of this moment. i know i say that a lot, but i mean it. there are very few moments in life more important and life altering than this.

I don’t often get to see the moms BEFORE they have the baby… every one is usually so focused on baby pictures i think they forget to document this time of their lives as well. can’t wait to meet this little one!

okay, how fun is it to actually be part of a surprise proposal?! brindley had no clue what we were up to, and it worked perfectly! she thought i needed a model for some photo project i was working on, and then last minute asked her if she could talk chris into dressing up for a few pictures as well. (we needed some reason for him to be in a suit!) i would have drug it out a lot longer, because she is crazy beautiful and i could have taken a million amazing pictures, but it really was freezing out. so while i was working with her and keeping her focused on me, he quickly spread the flower petals out around her. when everything was just right he got down on one knee waiting for her to notice. she honestly was trying so hard to do what “i needed” she didn’t even notice him kneeling there until i told her to look at him. best reaction ever! here’s to happily ever after!!
