I have shot Kael’s older brother and sister before they moved, so it was great getting a chance to shoot him too. I didn’t see it as much at the time, but as I was editing his pictures I couldn’t help but see so much of his big brother in him. Kael is adorable now, and if he’s anything like the older too, he’s gonna be just as adorable when he grows up! Oh, and can I tell you. He was the smiley-est baby I’ve ever had, which was perfect with all his little dimples! It helped that when he smiled, he held it for a good long while to make sure I caught it. Thank you Kael! Haha, another thing about this little one, he had the biggest hands EVER. I have a feeling he’s going to be good and tall one day! Well there you go…. So glad I could see you guys again, but lets not wait so long this next time! ๐Ÿ™‚

Hey friends! Just wanted to give you an update for this summer. I will not be booking any shoots from May 10th through August 9th. So if you are wanting to get in BEFORE that, please let me know asap!! If you want to get in shortly after, let me know now so we can reserve you a spot! Especially all those on a baby plan… lets get you in right before I leave and/or right after I get back so we don’t miss those milestones!! I hate to leave all of you (temporarily of course), but sometimes it just has to be done. Just promise you won’t forget about me during that time. And for those who don’t yet know what I’m up too… you will soon find out because I will still be posting pictures. So keep checking in once May hits. ๐Ÿ™‚

But until then, I’d better get back to work!

Poor little Alyssa was so unsure about all this attention she was getting. And I don’t think she was too fond of sitting up there, all by herself with a camera in front of her. So I was really happy when we were able to distract her and see that sweet smile of hers! And for a little girl who does’t get dressed up all girly very often, she pulled it of like a pro!

The love of Amalia’s parents towards her was so tangible, it was incredibly sweet. I know most parents come in here just in awe of their little one, but every now and then it feels like you can reach out and touch it. This was one of those beautiful mornings. They started the family with a “his” and a “hers” and now this makes a perfect “theirs”. Congrats guys!

the adorable hat used was from HeartSmiles!
