I can’t get over this bride. When I first met her she was just this little girl. I felt old when I took her senior pictures, and then really old when I took her engagements… but now I just feel in awe. She has to be one of the most beautiful people I know, inside and out. So proud my kids have her to look up to! And seriously, can you believe this dress? It was amazing. I have a new obsession with champagne colored wedding dresses… perfection! It made me want to do my wedding all over again.  And Wadley Farms was an amazing place to do the session. It’s a beautiful venue, we had the place to ourselves, and they were so great to work with! Oh, and doesn’t she kind of remind you of Taylor Swift? Especially in the picture looking down over the top of her (3rd one down). eek!

So these are this year’s pictures of my kids. It was hard, because it’s been a tradition as long as I have been taking pictures, to do fall pictures OUTSIDE. Because isn’t that the point of doing them in the fall? It’s beautiful outside! But this year I didn’t get them done before it was no longer fall looking. Old habbits die hard, and I just kept thinking I had more time. I Georgia we could shoot well into November (one year we even shot the beginning of December) and it was still beautiful fall outside. I really really need to let go of that and shoot sooner than later here in Utah. But, with that said… I absolutely love their images this year. Each of them is so, well, THEM! When a photographer nails your kids personality, and you walk away just loving the little things in those images that scream out about that child… this is what that feels like. Somehow I managed to do that will all four this time. And I love it. I love the pictures. I love these kids!

I realized I never shared any of my own little ones newborn photos. Most of them are on the wall, or stashed away in some folder on my computer… but I pulled a couple out to show you that yes.. I actually did take some of him! I can’t believe this guy will be turning 3 in a couple of months. Time really does go by way too fast. I know we had no intention of adding a 4th to our family, but I can’t imagine how much of life we would have missed out on if we hadn’t. I am truly so grateful  for surprises, and life not always going as planned. Because then little miracles like this guy might just come along.

Words cannot describe how this little angel changed my life in such a brief moment in time. I will always be blessed by the gifts he unknowingly brought into my life. And watching this story, no THEIR story unfold made me into a better person. Or at least made me want to be a better person. That’s something and he’s someone that will always be in my heart. Happy one year birthday kiddo. Love you!

Okay. So maybe, just maybe these are last years pictures. Haha! I haven’t gotten to this years pictures yet… and I’m quickly running out of time here. I’m still trying to figure out this earlier fall season. I’m not used to taking fall pictures until November… but one of these years I’ll finally have this timing mastered! Until then… enjoy last years, and hopefully sooner than later I’ll have this years for you too. Looking back at these I’m just reminded that man they grow up way too fast! And anytime I look at this picture of my youngest I will forever be reminded of how sick it turned out that he was. He was pretty grumpy, which isn’t normal for him. Later that night he broke out in the worst fever, runny nose and runny diaper. This kid was such a trooper, and really tried. I guess that’s what I love about pictures. They can take your right back to that moment. Like you were still there. Don’t ever stop taking pictures of your little ones, because that’s the only thing that can stop their growing up. Even if just for a second.

I love watching a family bring a new little one in to their home. And I couldn’t say that more than with these guys. This sweet little one is amazing. And she a perfect addition to her big sister, who is also amazing. And they belong to one of the most beautiful moms that I know. I am so so happy for them. This little girl is so loved!
