I mentioned an incredible newborn shoot I was editing, right? Well, this is it. I had the hardest time narrowing down the images. There were WAY too many good ones! She was such a doll, and her parents were absolutely so sweet! You could tell how much they adored their new little girl, but really… how could they not? She really was quite the angel. Well, until the very end that is. You know those adorable pictures of dad holding the naked baby in his arms? Don’t worry, we got ours, but she also got him in the process. I’m beginning to think it’s a requirement for those shots. So future parents BE WARE! You have to pay the price if you want the shot. 🙂 But even with that, I’ll still let her hold the title of angel. She worked hard for it, and I loved the results!

yea.. gave up posting images *after*, and now I’m back to using them as a sneak peek. Couldn’t take it! So you’ll have to bear with me as I try to catch up between new sessions, and the older ones who were waiting to be posted. I’ll get there though! So until then…let’s talk about Lucy!

I have had this little peanut since she was just a month old. Oh, I LOVE watching them grow up, but it also reminds me how quickly my own kids are growing. Kind of a love hate thing! Why can’t they just stay little a bit longer? But seriously some cuteness going on here, right? Love the hair, and love the stripes on the dress. Just love. Again… best job ever!

I’ve been dying to share this little cutie! I’m trying this new workflow.. where I don’t post images until after everything is finished, ordered, and I’m closing up the files. I don’t know how much I like it though, because now I have folders of images just sitting here, that I LOVE and want to share with YOU, but I can’t!  I even cheated on this one and posted early.  So I’m going to try and  give it a little more time… but I might go back to how I was doing it before.

Wyatt!  Loved getting to shoot this little munchkin, and  his mom is one of the best people out there! I loved his little old man hair, and that he absolutely didn’t want to be scrunched up AT ALL! He like to sprawl and relax. Just like a guy, right?!  So sweet! pinimage pinimage pinimage pinimage pinimage

I just have to brag for a second. More of my family here, but really.. how couldn’t I be proud of him. My boy entered a photograph he took completely on his own, into his 3rd grade PTA reflections. And guess what. HE WON!!  But really, how could he not?  He is my boy after all, right?!  🙂  The theme was diversity, and he said something about reflecting on the diversity in everything around us. Not sure I got that exactly right, but either way, wish him luck!

Someone recently pointed out to me that I don’t ever put pictures of my own kids or family up here, and I realized they are right! I don’t know why, and it wasn’t intentional… but I haven’t. So here’s to change! These aren’t my kids, but they are most definitely an important part of my family. Meet my brother and his wife! Now I wasn’t the photographer this time, which gave me a chance to relax… but I still couldn’t help sneaking them away for a photo or two (but please don’t tell!). So, so  sweet! And this amazing building is the Temple where they got married. Beautiful, right?

my other brother (next in line…) and our mom! Totally candid, which is the best part. 🙂

First off, thank you for all who participated in the give-away. The first two are closed and I’ll be announcing the winners soon!  Now on to the real reason you’re here!

So Hattie is one of the best babies I think I’ve ever met. I don’t know that I’ve ever heard her cry, and I’ve seen her on way too many occasions to never have heard that.   She is just so content and happy, it’s  almost not fair. I could have used one of those!!  We had a short mini shoot.. and I mean really short. It was about 20 minutes tops, but she was so happy and willing to just be there, we didn’t need more than that to come up with a whole slew of images. And can you tell what her newest trick is? Rolling over. Perfect. 🙂
